Fabricated and welded fuel tank mounts.
Friday July 23
Things have been a bit quiet, finished off the front end bar work and paint to engine bay. Started prepairing the body for paint, bolted the scoop to the bonnet and started preping the inside cage and realised what a shit job sanding back a roll cage in -2 deg temp at 11pm can be but the results are well worth the effort, and it must be done, pics coming in the next day or so.
Saturday 29 July
Time to throw a bit of yellow paint about inside the cabin and the first body coat , the average weather has slowed down the paint but with some luck a few more coats next weekend and it is starting to begin to resemble the old 46.
Sunday 8 August,
Good weather means time for some base coats to go down, and that they did. next weekend weather permitting the top coats will be applied.
Saturday 20th August
Finally got around to mixing some paint and putting down the top coat at last, also added some tin work to the nose and came close to finishing the seat fabrication.
